The MCRP is a voluntary program for male inmates who have approximately 365 days left to serve. The MCRP allow eligible inmates committed to state prison to serve the end of their sentences in the community in lieu of confinement in state prison.
Through extensive community partnerships, innovative community supervision and a commitment to rehabilitation, CDCR is helping offenders succeed as they return to their communities. Comprehensive pre- and post-release rehabilitative programs and services are offered in communities throughout California delivered through alternative custody, residential, outpatient and drop-in centers.
Prison Fellowship seeks to restore those affected by crime and incarceration by introducing prisoners, victims, and their families to a new hope available through Jesus Christ. We accomplish this by training and inspiring churches and communities—inside and outside of prison —to support the restoration of those affected by incarceration.

Reentry programs for ex-offenders can be very helpful for those that need a helping hand once outside prison. Below we have a comprehensive list of reentry programs for ex-offenders by state to help those needing it.
